DETAILS:
This course is designed to build upon fundamentals of shooting the rifle system from the original course and enhance the user’s ability to employ the system in conjunction with a pistol.
After reviewing marksmanship and the manual of arms, the shooter will be instructed on additional techniques related to movement, bilateral shooting and shooting around cover. Your instruction will be conducted by members of the law enforcement and special operations community.
*This course will require physical activity to include running and rapid assumption of positions. Please disclose any medical conditions which may preclude your participation from certain events.

Requirements
Prerequisites:
- Level I Operator Course in any weapon system
Firearms Requirements:
- Rifle with 5 Serviceable 30 Round Magazines.
- Rifle Magazine Carrier that Accommodates a Minimum of 3 Spare Magazines.
- 9mm Caliber or Greater Serviceable Pistol with 3 Magazines (5 for Single Stack Autos).

FAQ
What does the cost of registration cover?
Cost will cover the course only. The student is responsible for costs associated with travel, lodging, meals (unless otherwise indicated), firearms (unless a loaner is requested), ammunition, and personal gear.
Do I need a background check to attend training?
Yes, unless you have a current state issued concealed carry permit.
*If so, then you will need to upload a copy of your permit and driver’s license during registration in lieu of a background check.
I don’t have a concealed carry permit. How do I obtain a background check?
Sentry Link offers a National Criminal Background Check for a fee of $19.95 per report.
Once the report is obtained send the report to training@iwi.us to have it included with your registration packet. You can send the report via the “Share” button.
How do I pay for the course?
During the registration process, you will be asked to enter your payment information or voucher code in order to pay for the course. This payment is required to hold your place in the course due to class limits and the management of student / instructor ratios. Cost covers the course only (unless otherwise indicated). Students are responsible for costs associated with travel, lodging, meals, firearms (unless a loaner is requested), ammunition, and personal gear.
Refund/Reschedule Policy:
- Cancellations: If you cancel no later than 30 days prior to the start of your course, your payment can be applied to a future course for up to one year. If you cancel within 30 days of your course start date, your payment is non-refundable. However, that balance may be applied to another course within one year.
- Refunds: You can receive a full refund up to 30 days prior to the start of your course. Any amount over $250 is fully transferable or refundable if you cannot make the class for any reason, with or without notice.
- Reschedule: You can reschedule up to 2 times without penalty. After that you are no longer eligible to transfer your payment to a future course and forfeit your refund.

The IWI Academy was originally built around training the venerable Tavor SAR/ X95. The class has expanded to include all bullpup related rifles and since its’s inception, the Academy has grown to include offerings in pistol, AK, Galil, and precision rifle courses. The courses range from creating initial performance baselines to advanced applications of skills.
Students that attend the program will learn every aspect of their system to include function and maintenance through efficient, performance driven deployment in a variety of scenarios, lighting conditions and stress. This is accomplished through building block training that interfaces with systems across the platforms.
Our instructors are hand selected from the Law Enforcement and Special Operations Community. They were chosen for their knowledge, communication skills, performance and professionalism in training a wide variety of students. No matter which instructor you train with, our program is structured so there is consistency across the board. From beginning to end, your experience will build on itself to raise you to your highest potential.

If you decide you’d like to own any currently offered IWI weapon, students have the opportunity to purchase a weapon at a discounted price direct from the factory after the course.
